PowerMEMS 2025

Dr. Nathan Lazarus, along with graduate students Sharmin and Minhaz, attended PowerMEMS 2025 at the University of New Mexico.
The group connected with researchers in the micro/nano energy systems community and presented their latest work in soft, stretchable systems.

October 2018 – Dr. Lazarus is selected as ARL’s Early Career Award winner for 2019.

November 2017 – UMD Stretchable Photovoltaics team, co-mentored by Dr. Lazarus, competes in the national finals of the Collegiate Inventors Competition as one of the top six undergraduate teams in the nation. Congratulations!

April 2017 – MS student advisee Sabrina Curtis wins 2nd place in the student poster competition at MAMNA 2017.  Congratulations Sabrina!

November 2016 – Dr. Lazarus and collaborator Dr. Chris Meyer selected for ARL’s Honorary Award for Engineering 2016.

May 2016 – Dr. Lazarus is selected as the Rookie Employee of the Year Award (Gold) -Technical/Scientific Category (2016) by the Baltimore Federal Executive Board.
